How the snippet works
Embedding is a single step: paste the snippet on your site. There is nothing to build, compile, or host yourself. As soon as the page loads, the launcher appears and visitors can start a conversation. Web chat is live the moment the snippet is in place.
The widget loads without blocking your page from rendering, so it does not get in the way of your site's first paint. Visitors see your content immediately, and the chat launcher is ready when they want it.
Theming and branding
All visual properties are controlled from the admin portal so non-technical users can change them without editing code, each with a live preview:
- Eight preset color themes, or custom pickers for primary, background, gradient, in-color text, and hover colors.
- A custom launcher icon you upload yourself. An icon set directly in the embed code takes priority over the panel-configured icon.
- Up to four chat starters that suggest opening questions to visitors.
- Teaser text bubbles that invite visitors to start a conversation.

What visitors can do
The widget is built around honest, two-way feedback:
- Rate each answer turn by turn (correct or incorrect), add a note explaining why, and undo a rating if they change their mind.
- Download their own conversation transcript.
- Delete their own transcript.
These ratings flow into your Chat Dashboard and Analytics view, so the feedback your visitors give directly informs how you tune the Guru.
How a turn flows
- A visitor types a message in the widget.
- The backend runs Hybrid RAG retrieval against your indexed content: dense vector retrieval for semantic match plus sparse keyword retrieval for exact terms like a SKU or policy clause.
- The retrieved passages and the conversation history go to the answer pipeline, which generates a grounded reply in your brand voice.
- The answer appears in the widget, grounded in a specific passage from your content.
- The complete answer is logged with its retrieved sources for analytics and audit.
Every answer is grounded in your indexed content. When no relevant passage exists, the Guru routes to a guarded fallback rather than extrapolating.
Where to show the widget
From the admin portal you control the widget's appearance and behavior across your site without touching code. You configure the theme, the launcher icon, the chat starters, and the teaser bubbles, then preview the result live before it goes out to visitors.
What to expect after install
