Admin console tour

Welcome to the admin console, where you make your Guru truly yours, so sign in with your website, your email and the password you chose at setup. Everything about your Guru lives in the menu on the left, and the button that stores your changes always sits at the top right. Appearance comes first, beside a live preview of your own website where the chat button is your real Guru. It works in six steps, starting with the words: the chat header, the welcome message and up to four frequent questions. Next come the colors, where you pick a preset or set each color yourself, and the preview follows every change. Then choose the icon on the chat button, from the Guru, seven ready-made icons, or an image of your own. Add an attention effect, with short teasers that appear beside the chat button. The Position step sets the corner of the page where your chat button sits. The install step holds the one line of code that puts your Guru on your site, and once it is pasted, every saved change reaches your site. In General, say who owns the Guru and where your customers can reach a person when they need one. In Instructions, give your Guru its name, its role and skills, and its job, starting from the defaults that setup filled in for you. Click Save, and your changes go live at once, on your site and wherever your Guru answers, so let's try the Guru back in Appearance. Tap a frequent question, and your Guru answers right there on the preview, from your own pages, with links to the pages it used. Visitors can rate each answer with a thumbs up or down, and the Chat Dashboard lists every conversation on every channel, each with its date, its answer and its rating. Click Load Logs for any date range, and every conversation can be read in full. Your account menu lets you change your email or password, pick a light, dark or device-matched theme, or Exit, so continue with the next video to connect every channel.
